String Goes to The Met
This year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute's 2017 exhibition examines the work of fashion designer Rei Kawakubo, known for her avant-garde designs for Comme des Garcons.
The day will begin with a light breakfast at String Yarns along with a preview of the new fall/winter Tahki-Stacy Charles collections. You'll receive 15% off any purchase made that day. We'll then head over to the Met, where knitwear industry icon, Stacy Charles, will lead us through the Rei Kawakubo exhibition. Lunch will follow back at one of our favorite bistros, Casimir, just across the street from our 74th Street location.
