A Toast to a New Year of Knitting!
January has been dubbed “selfish-knitting month” and now that the holidays are over, it’s time to start thinking about knitting for YOU!
What are your knitting resolutions this year? Do you want to learn a new technique? Try out a new yarn? Graduate from accessories to sweaters?
We’ve taken a look back at the past year to come up with some of our favorite projects to inspire and motivate you in 2018, all at 15% off.
First up is the Sarasota Pullover designed by Lidia Karabinech. On trend and timeless, the pullover’s ribbed body and sleeves add textured contrast to the feminine scalloped hem. Knitted in String Blossom, a cashmere-silk blend by Filati Biagioli Modesto means that this one will drape beautifully and transition well into the spring and fall. Knit in pieces, Sarasota also features some interesting techniques, like German short rows and a provisional cast-on.
One of our best-loved designs of 2017 is the Grace Colorblock Pullover by Lidia Karabinech. Although we loved our version in black and white (and so did many others), our fan base took the soft-edged intarsia insets of color and made it their own by coming up with combinations that ranged from the subdued to the electric. The pullover is knit in our ultra-soft String Classica DK, a 100% cashmere by Filati Biagioli Modesto.
And then we have a hat for cable-lovers (or for those that would like to master them) - Robins Island by Joan Forgione. A duo of staggered cables adorns the entire hat. Knit in Classica DK, it’s available in two sizes and two lengths (slouch or cap) and topped off with a fur pom pom. A small masterpiece that you’ll be proud to make and wear.
We have video tutorials at our YouTube Channel to support you all the way. Check them out here.
All kits include yarn + pattern.
