Unused yarn may be returned within 90 days for store credit only.
No returns are accepted on needles, patterns, sale yarn or special orders.
All online orders are processed and filled by our in-store staff, and we do our best to respond to every order as soon as we receive it (or the following business day, depending on the time you place your order). If any of the items in your order are not in stock, or will take longer to process (such as some hand-dyed yarns which are often special ordered) we will be in touch with you promptly. We will e-mail you notification of shipping, including tracking numbers. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions, issues, or concerns at (212) 288 - 9276.
All yarn purchases related to our classes will be 10% off. We would appreciate if your class-related purchases are made at String. Please purchase all required material (yarns, needles, etc.) before the class begins.
Class fees must be paid in full upon registration and reserves your seat in the class. Your payment is your commitment that you will take the class so that we, in turn, can make a commitment to our instructors.
Class fees are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by String. We are happy to offer a store credit if you need to withdraw from the class, provided we receive at least 14 days’ prior notice or your seat in the class can be filled.
If String cancels due to instructor illness, bad weather, or insufficient class size, you will receive a full refund or store credit applicable to another class.
